Have you tried raw cow’s milk or goat’s milk? Some people think that raw milk tastes better than pasteurized milk, or believe that it has health benefits, such as curing lactose intolerance or certain allergies or providing beneficial gut bacteria. Although we think it is delicious, we make no specific claims but encourage you to see for yourself!
In Colorado, it is perfectly legal to buy and sell farm fresh raw milk, as long as you are a member of the farm’s herd. At the Mountain Goat Lodge – you may sign up and pay a minimal fee to become a member of our herd.
Your membership entitles you to purchase goat and cow milk, and associated dairy products that we will make for you out of your milk. The products may include yogurt, fresh eggs, and various cheeses.
As a herdshare member, you are welcome to come and view our dairy operation each day as we milk the cows and goats.
We do not require a set amount each month – simply text us your order on the morningor day prior to your pick-up and we will have it ready for you!
